The Drake Tribe places a premium on strength and readily extends respect to those who have proven themselves in combat. However, they are unlikely to offer assistance to individuals they perceive as weak or unable to resolve their own issues. The tribe holds individuals with strong hearts and unwavering wills in high esteem, honoring them. Outsiders seeking aid must not only showcase their physical prowess but also demonstrate how their strength would benefit the tribe.In some instances, members of the Drake Tribe may decline aid, be it from their own or outsiders, fearing that accepting help could brand them as weak or unworthy in the eyes of their fellow tribespeople. The Shards: A Footnote

In Final Fantasy XIV's lore, traveling between shards is a difficult task that requires specialized knowledge and magical abilities. Here are some ways that your character could potentially travel between shards in a roleplay setting:1. Aetheryte Travel: Aetherytes are magical teleportation devices located throughout Eorzea and its surrounding regions. Interestingly, they don't mind sharing their partner, who also serves as the tribe's bridge captain, allowing the two Miqo'te to operate on his "level." Seekers of the Sun

The self-proclaimed Seekers of the Sun (サンシーカー族, "San Shīkā Zoku," meaning "Sun Seeker Group") are the diurnal clan of the Miqo'te race. Their preference for the warm light of day pervades all aspects of their culture, as is apparent in their devout reverence for Azeyma the Warden, goddess of the sun. They are perhaps known best for their striking eyes - the result of their vertically aligned pupils and faintly colored irises. It is also not uncommon for their eyes to be disparately colored from birth, a trait considered auspicious amongst their kind.The Seekers are widely regarded as quick-witted and prone to action, and many exhibits a tendency to bore easily. Though lean and flexible, they possess immense strength and stamina and excel at near any physical act─be it bounding amongst the treetops or swimming in rough waters.

Sun Culture

The Seekers of the Sun adhere to a deeply patriarchal culture, with each tribe revolving around a dominant breeding male (Nunh) responsible for forming a harem and leading the community to glory and prosperity. Young males, known as "tia," must either ascend to the position of Nunh by challenging and defeating an existing Nunh in single combat or depart the community to establish their own harem. In larger tribes, the existence of multiple Nunh within the same community is rare.Opting to adopt one's mother's name as a last name, while not impossible, signifies a rejection of the Seeker of the Sun culture in favor of adopting the customs of the Keepers of the Moon. Some Seekers may respect this choice, while others may view it unfavorably.Since the Seekers' arrival in Eorzea, there have been males who, instead of challenging their tribe's Nunh through conventional means, choose to depart and form their own tribe. If a male establishes his tribe, he will replace the letter from his original tribe with a new one, often two letters of his choosing. However, these newly formed tribes seldom survive, as it is uncommon for female Seekers to join them.Within the existing twenty-six tribes, there are Tia who, instead of challenging an existing Nunh, prove their value by expanding the tribe's hunting grounds. These Tia venture into the world, claiming territory by either discovering unoccupied areas or seizing land from other tribes. If they successfully maintain control for an extended period, they become the nunh of that area while remaining part of their original tribe.This practice is more accepted than leaving the tribe to form a new one, as such an act results in being an outcast. Sun Nomenclature

Each of the twenty-six Seeker tribes adopted a tribal name taken from one letter of the Eorzean alphabet, which—be it coincidentally or by divine fate as the Seekers believe—contains the same number of letters. In the female name R'ashaht Rhiki, the "R" represents the tribe, while "Ashaht" is the given name and "Rhiki" a patronymic taken from the breeding male who sired her.Most male Seekers have simple one- or two-syllable names. Male Seeker names contain no patronymics, and they do not take family names. Instead, they are appended with a title denoting their position in the tribe: "nunh" (pronounced "noon") for breeding males, or "tia" (pronounced "tea-ah") for all others.The extra aitches seen in these names represent a slight hissing or spitting sound that is made when the name is pronounced by the feline Miqo'te. Many of the other races in Eorzea cannot accurately reproduce this sound, so the aitches end up going silent when read.
